Team Player

The other morning we found Cookie in her bed like this...

We asked her why she had the pillow over her head, she replied, "because sissy was crying."

KC and I couldn't help but think, what a little team player! After all, how could Cookie be angry at her sweet little sissy with a face like this...

Rock On

One day while at dinner out of no where Cookie threw her hands up and proclaimed her love for rock and roll, by telling her daddy and I to...

ROCK ON

It was only fitting that she give a rock and rolling birthday shout out to her rockin' Aunt Cori...

I Did It

I made it down the mountain without a fall. For those of you that know me, know that I am not a very good skier. Put it this way I would much rather go to the dentist than ski down a mountain.

However, it is funny how a lesson and a free mind can change one's perspective. After two days in ski school and being shown up by several two year old skiers I embraced my fear and did it...

I am the one going very slowly down the mountain and secretly screaming, MOVE IT PEOPLE, MAMA IS COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN! I can say now, that no humans were hurt in the making of this video.

We had a wonderful getaway and I am now looking forward to next year's ski trip. I just hope that the Grandparents are saying the same thing.

Leaving On a Jet Plane

Looks like it may just happen. The Hubby and I will be leaving on a jet plane! For the first time since 2007 we are venturing out and leaving our responsibilities at home aka Cookie and Moo. No kiddos just two carefree adults who are going to revisit the joys of sleeping in and enjoy a nice bottle of something that doesn't have the words AVENT across it or comes from a vintage Enfamil container. Most of all we will only be responsible for wipping our own bums. Diaper free for three days, now that is something to celebrate.

I am a little nervous because this is the first time that I am leaving my babies and the Hubby will not be here. But that is okay because we are leaving a village behind to keep an eye on them. Thanks to the Grandparents and best of luck!

FYI (GG & Mema) -if Cookie insists on wearing her swim suit to bed the answer is No and if she asks for cereal for dinner the answer is NO (trust me on that one). Last but not least if Cookie insists on an extra episode of Barney (when you have already seen it a million times), feel free to exercise that NO again. Better yet feel free to tell her that Barney has moved out and it doesn't look like he is coming back this time.

Wish us luck! Better yet wish my kids grandmother's luck...
