My Peeps

Dare I say it, it has been over ten (plus) years since we all pledge AXO! Even though the years have come and gone since graduation and our little college town has now been invaded by Starbucks, and taco bueno's it still feels the same as it did back in the Fall of 1996.

A month ago we had the opportunity to have a girls weekend. We laughed until we cried, [of course at my expense of falling through a chair and the college girl complaining about her weight being stuck at 115 - but that is a different post], we danced all night, enjoyed our late night Whataburger and unfortunately realized that cheap liquor and a 3 AM (bed time) just isn't the same on our bodies.

Bottom line, it was a blast catching up with my peeps and reliving our good ol' SFA days despite the fact that we were now rolling down north street in our Mom mobiles!

Don't let the lipstick full you - we are a crazy bunch! Though distance may keep us apart we will continue to keep the party going.

Dadarazzi

I have been on the road for the past week and when I am gone the Hubby does a great job at being a DAD-A-RAZZI. Every evening he blesses me with photos of our little celebraties and sends them with the most entertaining captions. Oh that Hubby so witty.

It is almost like I am right there in the moment with them. Needless to say this is probably the reason why Cookie thinks that every phone can take a picture.

I Am Standing

She Poops...

...yep, I even got a picture of that, but I thought since it was Friday I would spare my blogging friends that nice little surprise. It was only fitting that I got the message that Cookie was no longer constipated while at dinner. Oh, the joys of picture phones and a Rookie Mom on the road.

On Second Thought...

...the Easter Bunny really does rock.

Looks like someone is changing her opinion of the Easter Bunny.

Cookie was so proud of her Easter Basket and she was even more thrilled when she got to raid her sisters basket. We had a wonderful bubble making, candy filled Easter and we hope that all of you did as well.

Daddy Fashion

If I have learned one thing about my husband it is that he could give a big fat damn about fashion and the latest trends. Give the man a pair of kahki's (preferably a little worn with a few holes), an Academy t-shirt and of course his (dare I say)...

CROCS WITH SOCKS...He is rockin' the KC.

I am positive that if I continue to play my nagging (seriously, oh no you didn't just put that on) tune he will soon be sporting this look...

In an effort to avoid this situation at all cost, I guess I should just keep my TX sized mouth shut and just be proud to be the woman who can hug a man that proudly sports his crocs with socks.

Disclaimer: If you are a man that sports crocs with socks, then go on with your bad self this blog post is merely the opinion of a Rookie Mom of her Rookie Hubby.
