Build A Bear Was Almost Steal A Bear

Yesterday I took Cookie to build a bear. Even though I have heard that building a bear could single handily help in turning the economy around, I thought I would give it a shot.

We arrived at the mall a good hour to early. It turned out to be okay, because Cookie was having a great time racing the mall walkers in the little speed racer cars you can rent. We also, squeezed in a photo op in the mall photo booth.

Not the best quality, but a great $5 memory!

When we walked up to build a bear you could see her excitement building. She waited patiently as they opened and once they opened she was off to the races. Surprisingly enough she was only interested in the long ear bunny rabbit. We stuffed it with love, a couple of hearts and then fluffed it to perfection.

We had just about made it out of the workshop without a hitch until Cookie saw the front display of bears. She paused, looked around and then she proceeded to grab a couple and headed for the exit. Luckily we managed to cut her off before the mall security would have to haul her off with a charge of Bear Stealing.

All in all it was a great day and no one got arrested!

Wishing you and your family a safe and Happy Fourth of July.
