Toots, They Happen To The Best Of Us

We are currently in the process of transitioning Cookie to her toddler bed and during this transition we have started the tradition of "girl time." Girl time is our time to talk about the important things in life like, what happened at the play ground, what we colored at school and most importantly what flavor of snow cone she had on Tuesday.

We also talk about the new words she is learning at school and apparently we are spending good money, because over the course of the last couple of months our little Cookie has improved her vocabulary with with words Ewe, stinky and poo poo.

I know this only because during our Sunday night talk, [dare I admit it] I accidentally tooted. Much to my surprise my little Cookie was quick to call her Mom out and repeatdly say [holding her nose], "Ewe, stinky mama, stinky." Then before I knew it the tables were turned and she was tugging at my jammers and saying, "Poo Poo Mom, Mom?"

In my wildest dreams I never would have imagined that I would be called out by my two year old, but then again kids really do say the darnedest things. So, word to the wise, do not toot around Cookie because she will be quick to call you out and proceed to check your pants.
